By Invite Only: Referral Rewards Terms and Conditions

By participating in a SoLo Funds (“SoLo”) referral promotion (a “Program”), you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). SoLo may at any time and in its sole discretion, without prior notice, terminate, cancel, suspend, or modify a Program or these terms. If you are the person inviting friends to participate, you are an “Advocate” under these terms, and if you are a person who receives an invitation, you are a “Friend.”

Eligible Advocates and Friends will receive SoLo Credits (“Credits”) as specified herein. Credits may be used towards loan funding and loan payments within the SoLo Application and have no cash value. Credits are not transferable or assignable for any reason. The sale or transfer of Credits is strictly prohibited, and any transfer of Credits to a secondary market shall be deemed void.

Credits do not expire for active members. Credits expire six months in 00:00 UTC time from the date the member’s account is voluntarily closed by the member or involuntarily closed in accordance with the SoLo Terms of Service Agreement.

An Advocate will only receive a Credit when the Friend completes the action described in these Terms, as determined in SoLo’s sole discretion.

Eligibility and Overview
  • You may participate in a Program as an Advocate until the Program is terminated or modified by SoLo. Advocates and Friends will be eligible to receive a specific reward if the qualifying activity is completed before the Program’s termination, cancellation, suspension or modification.
  • To be eligible to receive a reward through a Program, each Advocate and Friend must have (or sign up, in the case of a Friend) a SoLo account in good standing (“Valid Account”) at the time the qualifying activity is completed.
  • An Advocate may refer a Friend by sending the Friend an email, text, or social post that includes a link (“Invitation”) to participate in a Program. By participating in a Program, the Advocate agrees to include the Invitation accurately and, in its entirety, when posting/inviting Friends. Each Friend must complete each of the following steps (“Reward Criteria”) by a Program termination or modification date:
    • Sign up for a Valid Account for the first time via the link sent by the Advocate. To be eligible, Friend’s phone number or email used to sign up cannot have been previously associated with a SoLo account. Signing up for a Valid Account may require certain actions to verify the Valid Account and is subject to the SoLo Terms of Service Agreement; and
    • Use the SoLo App to make the qualifying activity as described in the Program (i.e., account opening, loan request, loan proposal, loan repayment, loan funding).
  • Advocate may make an unlimited number of referrals; however, the Advocate may only earn a total maximum rewards credit of $100 per month.
  • A Friend must not be an existing SoLo customer. A Friend is eligible to receive a Credit by clicking on the Download SoLo App link provided by the Advocate. A Friend is eligible to receive both a $5 credit upon submitting a request for their first loan, and a $10 credit when the Friend submits a proposal to make a loan for the first time.
Limits on Referrals

Advocates may only refer family and personal friends and acquaintances. Additionally, you must not publish or distribute the Invitation link or notifications received from SoLo containing the link online or otherwise where the audience is likely to include people who are not your family or personal friends/acquaintances. If you do so, SoLo may, in its sole discretion, disqualify you from participation in a Program and deny you Credits that you would have received from the completed qualifying activities. There is a limit of one reward credit per Friend per Valid Account. If two or more Advocates invite the same Friend, SoLo provides a Credit to the Advocate whose Invitation the Friend accepted first, as determined in SoLo’s sole discretion. If an Advocate has received the monthly limit of $100 in Credits, a Friend referred by Advocate prior to Advocate reaching the $100 monthly limit will still be eligible to receive a Credit available to Friends.

Redeeming Rewards
  • SoLo reserves the right to limit, cancel, delay or decline to permit redemption of a Credit reward if SoLo determines, in its sole discretion, that an Advocate or Friend has violated these Terms or the SoLo User Agreement or has acted in a fraudulent or abusive manner, or if SoLo restricts or closes the Valid Account pursuant to the SoLo User Agreement.
  • You acknowledge that you have no property rights in Credits until Credits are redeemed for a Credit reward consistent with these Terms.
  • SoLo is not responsible and/or liable if any email, reward, referrals, or Program-related materials or correspondence are lost, fraudulent, abusive, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, altered, defective, misdirected, tampered with, or irregular in any way or if any participant’s email address, Valid Account, or other contact information does not work, is deleted, or is changed without participant giving prior written notice to SoLo.
  • A Program is void where prohibited or if an account(s) or transaction(s) are fraudulent, abusive, not completed through legitimate channels, in violation of these Terms, or irregular in any way.

By participating in a Program, you agree that SoLo may disclose customer information about you to persons who refer you to SoLo or who you refer to SoLo. Please refer to SoLo Funds Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

This Program is governed by California law. By sending or accepting an Invitation consistent with these Terms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the SoLo Terms of Service Agreement. Any questions relating to the offer will be resolved in SoLo’s sole discretion and its decisions related to the offer will be final and binding.

A Credit will be applied to the Valid Account of the reward recipient for the completed qualifying activity described below. Rewards should be posted to your Valid Account on the same business day that the qualifying activity is completed, but may take up to two business days.

Each Advocate is eligible to receive multiple rewards based on each completed qualifying activity by each friend:

  • Get $5 Credit when your friend pays back their first loan
  • Get $10 Credit when they fund their first loan

Each Friend is eligible to receive a reward based on their first completed qualifying activity:

  • Get $5 Credit when you request your first loan
  • Get $10 Credit when you propose to fund your first loan
